Hemp Field Day, and Crop Tour

Saturday August, 14th 2010 until Saturday August, 14th 2010

Come one come all to Stone Farms first public Hemp Field Day. See what it take to grow and harvest a hemp grain and fiber crop. Learn the history of hemp and sample our products. 

In the past year the farm and its efforts have received recognition from the Upper Ottawa Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Premier of Ontario winning a Premier's Award for Agri-Food Innovation Excellence. In the same time the hemp operation has more than doubled and now employs up to 20 local students and workers for pedigree hemp seed production.
